We’re located in the charming village of Humbie, at the foot of the Lammermuir Hills in East Lothian, on the edge of Midlothian and the Scottish Borders. Humbie is a tight-knit community, with beautiful views and plenty of local character.
Yes, we have a small car park for customers, as well as private parking at the front of the building. Additional parking is available in the village, near the Village Hall.
Absolutely! We welcome dogs in the café – just make sure they’re well-behaved, and we’ll make sure you both feel right at home.

Of course – the Humbie Hub café is open daily, serving homemade food, home baking and excellent barista coffee. It’s right downstairs, so you don’t have far to go!

Keith View sits above the Humbie Hub café and village shop in the quiet hamlet of Humbie, East Lothian. It’s surrounded by open countryside and rolling hills, with easy access to Edinburgh, the Scottish Borders, and the East Lothian coast.
Yes, guests are welcome to enjoy the private garden area shared with café visitors – a peaceful spot to relax in the sun.
Absolutely – there’s ample storage for bikes, fishing gear, golf clubs and other outdoor kit, making it an ideal base for active breaks.
Keith View comfortably sleeps up to six guests. There are three bedrooms: a king-sized master bedroom with en-suite (which can be set up as a twin if needed), a double bedroom, and a twin room accessed via the master – ideal for families with younger children.
The apartment has its own private entrance with a wide, well-lit staircase leading to the first floor. At the top of the stairs, there’s a small landing and a balcony where you can enjoy a cuppa and take in the countryside views.
Keith View is fully self-catering and comes with a well-equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and fridge-freezer), spacious open-plan lounge and dining area, two bathrooms, and plenty of storage for bikes, golf clubs, prams or outdoor gear.
Yes, parking is available for one car. Additional public parking is nearby in the village.
Yes, Keith View is heated by a biomass boiler and solar panels, offering guests a warm and sustainable place to stay with plenty of hot water.
We’re always happy to hear from artists interested in exhibiting at the Humbie Hub. Our exhibitions usually run for 5 to 6 weeks, and we aim to support and showcase local artists where possible.
We typically display visual art such as paintings, photography, prints and mixed media. If you work in another medium and would like to exhibit, please do get in touch – we’re open to ideas.
Yes, we usually take a small commission on any work sold during the exhibition. Full details, including pricing and setup guidelines, will be provided by the committee.
This can be arranged depending on availability and interest – we’re always happy to support artists in promoting their work, whether it’s through a small launch, café signage, or social media.
Exhibitions are displayed in the café area, which offers excellent footfall and a welcoming, informal environment for visitors to enjoy the artwork while they eat or have coffee.
Yes – alongside the main exhibition, we may also be able to accommodate prints, cards or smaller pieces for sale. Please include this in your enquiry if it’s something you’d like to do.

Yes, there is on-site parking available for tenants and visitors.
We currently have a space known as the Tech Shed, which includes two office rooms – one large room with a fitted kitchen and another smaller, more private room. There’s also a shower room within the space.

The separate studio space is currently rented by a local musical composer. While it’s not available just now, we’re always happy to hear from those interested in creative or flexible workspace.
Our spaces are suited to small businesses, freelancers and creatives looking for a peaceful, rural workspace. Past and current tenants have included an architectural practice and a musical composer.
The Hub is fitted with sustainable heating powered by a wood-fired boiler and solar panels. WiFi is available throughout the building – full details of what’s included will be shared when you enquire.

Yes – all of our food is freshly prepared in our kitchen, using local produce where possible.
For larger events we may be able to arrange additional support, but our outside catering is usually provided as high-quality food ready for you to serve.
